>>The world is ending Aiden. That’s just the plain fucking truth and you know it. The social fabrics have come undone. There is no morality left in this world..<<
"Wake up...Aa..idennnn.....WAKE UP!! I’m not quite done w..ith... youuuu.."
>>No my brother it is you who is wrong. There will always be good in this world. Things will never be as bad as you say they are....<<
"Fuck it!! Tie him up and throw him in with the other one. This is going nowhere and I have other shit on my mind today. Too much to enjoy this. AGGHHHHHH!!"
A lone table crashes against the wall. His mind is wrapped up in the complexities of his newfound life. Anger builds up inside him. Threatens to overwhelm him. He knows if he was to stay he would only end Aidens torment well before he had thoroughly enjoyed it. He chooses to leave but hesitantly.
"Boy I tell you this one is lucky today."
"Fuck man I know what you mean. I hope this guy is at least having a good dream cause its the last good thing he's likely to see. Once Harlin really starts then we'll see some blood."
"No shit man he's barely even bleeding. Not like the other poor fucker. Man Harlin laid into him good the other day. You should see that poor bastard. Whatever though ...it’s all the same. Whether you're bleeding today or bloodied tomorrow, the end game is always the same. I always end up on a date with a corpse."
In fact Aidens dreams were little more then flashing images. Memories of his brother... memories of his family and friends and all the others he knew before the world had gone to shit. Memories of all the people he had lost. They were not pleasant. They were just another form of torture that his soul would have to endure.

A tale that becons to be told. A tale that has yet to have a voice in this world. Its time has come and so we start at the begining and at the end.

Nothing Like Show Bizz To Kill Your Free Time
So im back at last. After a long hiatus from he world of blogdom i have finally found a smidgen of time with which to write down my latest escapades.
Well its been a while since last i did this and much has happened since then. I completed yet another film. The Englishman's Boy has come and gone and not too soon i may add. It was a nightmare as we started pretty much 2 weeks behind schedule and were under the gun the entire run of the show. But we pulled through and from what ive heard the sets look amazing... too bad the acting sucked. We were able to build and entire western town in 6 weeks comprising of a two story hotel, a saloon, bank, general store, stables, log cabin, dock and blacksmith. A pretty big feat for the amount of time given. After that we had a trading post to build which was later burnt down, which was then followed by a ranch (burnt down barn and house, accompanied by a bunkhouse and windmill), and then an movie producer's office. It was hectic to say the least. But that's all in the past now and im now on to bigger and better things.
Bigger and better being a Charlize Theron movie called Ferris Wheel. It stars Nick Stahl, AnnaSophia Robb, Dennis Hopper, Woody Harrelson and Charlize Theron of course. Its been a wonderful experience so far as i have actually had the pleasure of meeting and talking to each one of them. Each of them being extremely nice. Woody was hilarious to watch football with, while Dennis Hopper was just an old gentleman. Charlize is amazing at what she does, in acting/producing/directing and nick Stahl is just a great guy who is both fun to drink and gamble with. However this movie isn't without its downfalls as well. Ive been sort of thrust into so many roles on set that it is both physically and mentally exhausting. As you some of you know i build movie sets primarily for a living right now, while doing makeup on the side. Well my role has sort of changed since ive began working on set as i am now doing 5 other departments on top of on set carpenter. I am now also doing paint, greens, spfx, as well as helping out with props and set decorating. This is a lot for one person as it typically takes 6. But with all this responsibility comes a lot of respect as well. Ive made tons of great connections as i am basically a one man wrecking crew. Something needs doing im there. As tiring as it may be, it is a great opportunity and i will use it as best i can.
So aside from work ive got other things on the go as well. I just finished my work on an art piece that Johann, one of our painters, is putting together. It is his rendition of a movie. It is basically a suitcase that looks like an ordinary old wooden suitcase but when you open it up it unfolds to be something completely unexpected. This little world of wonder. It's just like a movie. When you first start all it is is suitcases and gear but when you open it all up you get this wonderful world of make believe. Im really excited to see how the final piece turns out.
And on top of all of this...as if it weren't enough for you all to sift through... i am leaving on vacation to Hawaii on Nov 30. I will be gone for a week and it will be glorious. Nothing but beaches and warmth and surfing. Bring on the luau is what i say. I cant wait....

First One's Under The Belt
Well ive officially finished my first film. We finished tearing down the last of the sets we toiled so hard to make on thursday. And with that we are now moving on to our next project. This next one should be extremely fun as it isnt a reshoot and we dont have to match anything. Just build and create. And the first thing we get to build is an entire town. And not just any town a western town . Which just so happens to look exactly like Deadwood. Its going to be fucking awesome. And in case you are wondering what this next movie is its Guy Vanderhaeghe’s "The Englishan's Boy" and it promises to be good.

Update, Update, Update
So after a long ass hiatus from blogging im back to it with a whole shit load of updating to be done. First off.. i got my ears pierced with a 10 gauge on my Taste of Chaos tour trip. Well i can now fit a 2 in them with 0 coming up close behind. On top of all this i am now currently residing in Regina...which for all of you who don't know is both the Crime Capital of Canada (per capita) and now The Clap Capital of Canada....woooo hooooo. So not only will my new truck (yes i also bought a truck) get stolen but the girl who will be consoling me would also give me the clap. Yay for me. But aside from all that things aren't so bad. Working in the film industry as we speak. Building movie sets and going to be doing makeup on the next film as well. The current film im on is The Messengers (imdb it) with The Englishman's Boy coming up next and Auschwitz after that starring Richard Dreyfus. All and all not bad. The only downside is that i work a shit load of hours. The Average has been 5 - 12 hour days with an 8 on saturday. But the upside is about 950 a week (after taxes). Its nice to finally have some cash. And with this cash i will be soon buying a longboard....let the fun commence. The only thing to decide now is what to buy. And i need input soon cause i plan on getting it this week/weekend. So any advice would be welcomed.
Well i must say that sums most of it up other than the trips i now have planned for the summer. Going to L.A for 4 days for a makeup convention. And the going to Chicago for Lallapolluza and a Cubs game. It will be so damn sweet. 150 bands....sparta, broken social scene, feist, metric, chilli peppers... the list goes on and on. And so would this blog if i dont end it soon. So with that..i jet.

Flight For Power
The Pelicans are flying over head. Their songs of sweet sorrow lost to the winds. The Vultures scream murder far below. The voices faint with lungs so black. The fallen victims of a loveless land scattered throughout by a godless man. The bushes burn black with a taint of oil. Fuelled with the greed of a powerful soil. These lands of hatred sit by so idol. Chastised and hypnotized by a box of golden style. When will this misery come to an end. When will the pelicans make there descend. Why do these signals go unreturned. When will the bush and vultures have burned.

Bloody Rhythm
I travel these hidden passages with cryptic meanings. They all lead to this rhythmic circle of cancers and cures. To love and to hate it all feels the same.My feet are so weary of corridors so bleak filled with this cancer called love.I must severe my limbs and be left for dead. Extract the tumor, there is no cure. My wounds are still bleeding, I've lost to much blood. To seek this cure will be the death of me.

Manic
My head keeps screaming names at me. I don't much like it. Not only does it hate me but it strives to kill me little by little. It's slowly winning. The magic pills don't seem to work. They only remind me of what went wrong. Each one choked down with a bitterness so vile.
There are images, memories in my head, of things gone wrong..of words long said. Each of them armed with small knives that slice into me slowly, cutting deeper and deeper. I bled out long ago. But the pain is still there. It serves to remind me of what I do not know. There isn't much more that I can take without losing what little grip on reality I have left. I hold on with but one hand...the other slowly wipes away the tears....

Exodus Vancouverous
Well the time has come (and gone) and I have vacated the Vancouver area and made the move back home. Yay for me. The trip back was an eventful one. On his way to pick me up my dad (with our truck and trailer for the purpose of moving me home) T boned a jack knifing semi while he himself was in an icy skid. Well this as you could imagine totaled the truck. There is essentially no front end left. Both his passenger and my dad walked away but were left without transportation for the rest of the trip. Long story short... stayed the night in Kelowna, rented a 26' U-Haul (14' to long for my purposes but the only truck available in Kelowna and Vancouver) and missed my graduation from makeup school. The trip home was split into two. The first half was from Van to Salmon Arms with me taking pics all the way.
The second half of our venture was then of course from Salmon Arms all the way to Shitsville...err Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan. Wooo Whoo. Well this part of the trip was plagued with shitty roads and even shittier drivers.
Something about the snow must make people's IQ's plummet cause even with a snow covered icy mountain road some retards were still doing 110 plus. I shit you not. Not to mention passing with the on coming traffics passing lanes. Its a wonder im no dead at the bottom of some mountain. But anyway, what ever motives prompted me to move here are long since gone and im left with an empty useless feeling. Im sad and alone and feeling miserable. Any love i once held for this place, the people here is gone or goes on unreturned. Memories of the past haunt me still. I see nothing but grief and pain. Even in the brightest of things I still see its shadow first. The man with the white coat gave me magic crystals to help but its only a way to hide. Im shattered inside and feel like there is nothing left for me to do. So i sit here by myself, sad and lonely, wondering if there will ever be any one whom i can shower with love again.

It's The Cowboy Way

Well the final exam has come and gone. And 5 hours of prosthetics work has left me with this. Its my rendition of a grizzled old cowboy. My gracious model Mike aloud me to apply four facial appliances to him (forehead, cheeks, and nose) to help create this look. Giddy Up Cowboy....Lets Ride.

Cheers to Mike for being such a good sport. He didnt bitch onces even though he ate a pound of crepe hair.
