I got the flex 3. And ill for sure give you a ring next time im in town. And on another note and tricks or tips you could give me would be great as my boarding experiences have been limited.
all i can say is ride, ride, ride. the first time i got on a board, my balance was wonky and i wasn't sure if i liked it. the next day i went for a 6km cruise by myself and i was in love.
ride as much as you can, and the speed and balance and carving will come.
i'm really impressed you made such a good choice for your first board.

I bought a Loaded Carving System Longboard. The Vanguard Model. More of a carvy style board. Made of bamboo. Its beautiful
