Heh we should do like a Kenny vs Spenny & see how long we can go without talking...although I'm afraid I'll need a plethera of signs if I'm required to work...or monkeys that can do sign language.
Oh Im affraid Id kick your ass. Monkeys or no monkeys. It often goes that all weekend I tend not to talk. And If I do its only to Jessica. So Im affraid you are at a disadvantage already.
well, if you need any help determining a good board for yourself, i'd be happy to help. i just need to know your weight, the kind of riding you'd like to do, and how fast you're looking to go.
Well im 6'2" and i fluxuate from 150 to 160 lbs... wondeful isnt it. Anyway im not sure what type of riding ld like to do... but i imagein as i get into it ill want to go faster.
okay, if you're looking for something that's really good for carving and just getting around, i'd suggest the landyachtz chief. (www.landyachtz.com)
for something a bit more stable and not as flexy, check out the rayne hellcat. (www.raynelongboards.com)
the landyachtz is more affordable, but it's higher off the ground so it's a bit harder to push than the rayne. my girlfriend just bought a rayne timeline, which actually might be a pretty good choice for you as well. it's not super long, it's good for higher speeds, and it turns like a mutha.
vancouver has a few good longboard shops. i'd suggest you go down and take a few boards for a spin to determine what feels best.
holy bdan you should start up your own business...kinda like a dating service except you hook up people with longboards , I think it could be quite lucrative!

So does typing count as talking?
No....it doesnt.
